Our Family Farm

Big Red one of our roostersWe are a small farm working 30 acres.

Our animals are raised on our pastures. The pastures are a rich mix of alfalfa, clover, and grasses.

It is a joint effort of Webb brothers and family that live near each other.

Farm Babies

Some of our fertilized eggs were raised in a kindergarten class, and are now back with us. As soon as they are feathered, they will join the rest of the group.

Guinea Fowl Keets: Here is our first batch of guinea fowl keets at 1 day old.

Guinea fowl with some of our chickens. They roost together. The guineas are a joy to watch as they march all over, covering a large territory. You can hear their alarm calls when something or someone new approaches the farm. They are also excellent with eating ticks and other insects.

Finding the Guinea hen nests to gather eggs was a challenge. As they pair off, and march off into the tree lines or into the fields we would have to watch and try to make note about where they were. And then try to find their well hidden nests.

Here is a video of our animals on our farm. Listen to the sounds.
